MADAD V2.0 Portal –
Consular Grievance Redressal System

We are pleased to announce a new version of MADAD V2.0 Portal – Online Consular Grievance Management and Redressal System. The MADAD (Help) portal is a flagship outreach programme of the Ministry of External Affairs extending a helping hand to Indian nationals in distress abroad.

The Ministry has been undertaking systematic improvements across MADAD Portal since its launch in 2015. The revised version V2.O incorporates improved data validation, faster processing workflows with increased uploading limit of documents from 1 MB to 5 MB and upgraded security features. An SMS facility for real-time-updates has also been introduced on registered Indian mobile numbers.

A Digital India initiative of Government of India to break language barriers ‘Bharatiya Bhasha Interface’ (Bhashini) has also been added making digital services and information accessible in all Indian languages through real-time translation, speech-to-text, text-to-speech and voice-to-voice translation.
